I enjoyed reading this. I love hanging around bookstores in general. 🙂 So, terrific initiative.

I lived in NC for 6 months in 1999 but can’t recall if I ever went to QRB or if it was even around then. If I ever go back, I will definitely visit.

And I am looking forward to reading future installments of this series about other indie bookstores like QRB.

Quail Ridge sounds like an fantastic bookstore, and I am looking forward to visiting it. Kudos to Quail Ridge for hosting Refugee author Alan Gratz. It's such a joy to know that there are authors introducing children to the difficult topic of refugees, helping them to understand the crisis, fostering their compassion, and book stores that support them in their work.
